Pros

Mopinion is een hele fijne software om mee te werken. Tijdens de onboarding krijg je een training in het gebruik van de software. Na de training kun je altijd vragen blijven stellen aan de Customer Succes Managers. Toch wijst het meeste zich vanzelf. Mopinion is zeer flexibel, je hebt niet voor iedere aanpassing een CSM'er nodig. Dat was een van de belangrijkste redenen om destijds over te stappen van Usabilla (nu Getfeedback) naar Mopinion.

Cons

Het nadeel van Mopinion is dat de partij nog niet heel groot is. Hierdoor zitten in sommige processen nog wat kinderziektes. Zo deden ze een tijdje terug een release van een nieuwe functionaliteit, waar nog een handmatige handeling in zat die fout ging. Hierdoor kwam er een witte overlay te liggen over onze site. Dit probleem is wel snel opgepakt door Mopinion en netjes opgelost.

We switched from using Hotjar to Mopinion almost two years ago and took me a few days to do the research back then and find a tool that has all the features needed, but I must say it was worth the effort. Mopinion proved to be the right tool for collecting feedback from our users, and even if back then it was not easy to find this tool, it was worth the extra time I invested in looking for other tools besides the big names Hotjar, Uservoice, Zendesk.

I like most the conditional statements feature which allows us to simplify our forms, and ask users only the essential

it's hard to think of any cons, but maybe their deployment can be a bit unintuitive the first time you set up a form

We released a full revision of our web application and wanted to give our beta users an easy way to report bugs. Once it was fully released, the feedback was still beneficial in reporting buts, but it also provided us a great way to stay in touch with our users and hear their comments regarding improvements they're like to see.

Pros

The forms are very easy to set up and customize. We're able to get specific feedback from our users and the ability to attach a screenshot is an added bonus

Cons

Setting up the dashboard. I sometimes had to switch to Classic to get some information to display.

Reasons for choosing Mopinion

The app works with dynamic urls and with forms behind a login. In addition, user can send a snapshot of the page element they're referring to in their comment, which became a must-have. During the free-trial period, it was evident how easy the app is to use and the rich data we could get from it. Also, the pre- and post-sales support has been excellent. Being a small company, we don't always encounter a high level of service.

Pros

Once the implentation is done, it is quite easy to use and we have a lot of freedom: just create and deploy a test ourselves instead of waiting on another company to do this for us.

Cons

There are a lot of bugs. Often, the software does not work or does not load graphs.

Usabilla does not comply with our privacy and security guidelines, where Mopinions does.

The company is approachable and easy to do business with. Decent support when there are issues.

Pros

Mopinion is a low cost, easy to use standard solution for collecting customer feedback on your website. It's very good at what it does.

Cons

It's not very flexible. There's some things to tweak but overall it's aimed at providing a standard solution. Also the dashboard is limited in how many different graphs you can use when using a lower tier subscription. The dashboard in general could use some more options.

I haven't used it as often but I dive into the data/results to create a basic dashboard.

Pros

It is clean and easy to use. I like the look and feel of it. I need to better understand and use it more to fully understand its capabilities.

Cons

I don't think the star rating is useful but I understand why it is utilized for ease of use. I would like to get more granular with the data and qualitative feedback. Unfortunately we don't get as many responses on some content (this has nothing to do with the tool).

Customer feedback went from several thousand per year using our previous tool to several thousand a month. Delivering actionable insights into our customers opinions and needs. Sometimes we were able to use Mopinion to add features to our products when our own development team did not have time to implement these. This way we could easily run tests and gather valuable insights in a matter of days.

Pros

Mopinion is easy to set up, just include a little script and you are up and running. The software is very versatile in gathering and sharing customer feedback in our organisation. There are many types of forms, form elements and combinations possible giving you a lot of freedom to create an engaging surveys for your customers. Data is easily gathered and exported, so you can easily use it in your reporting and escalation flows. Free tier makes it easy to test drive the software. Also, the sales team is very helpful to set up a more elaborate trial fit for our use cases. Very friendly and helpful support staff.

Cons

Sometimes the software is not entirely optimal to our workflows. Which makes some actions repetitive. When issues arise, like little bugs, these can be annoying, but are usually resolved in a matter of hours. While Mopinion is much cheaper for our highly visited websites, there are artificial limits on number of users and reports. This was a bit of a hassle to figure our during initial trials. Artificial intelligence aspect of the software is underdeveloped at the moment, but with the export options you can easily use your own analytical pipelines.
